A better look inside the book...
mission:MCFLY is a website, but more importantly, a web community. Not only does mission:MCFLY want to bring you all the latest news and media surrounding McFly, they also have their very own promotion team. With many media appearances they do all they can to get McFly known in The Netherlands and while doing so, have already introduced the British band to many new Dutchies.
The idea for the site started when two girls, Caroline and Pascale, got a little frustrated because of the fact that there was no proper Dutch McFly website. Sure, there were lots of fansites on the web, but none were in Dutch and none provided all information about McFly. Also, non of these webpages kept themselves busy with what these girls had their eye on. Because of the fact that these two girls were always searching for the latest McNews, they made quite a few foreign friends who kept them up to date. This meant that they knew tons about McFly, but the rest of Holland always was a bit behind on the news, gossip and rumours. That's when the idea of mission:MCFLY created itself; a Dutch website for all the other Dutchies who want to be just as up to date on these four young studs.
Before they started their website, a lot of e-mails and phonecalls were made with tons of people. This included Universal and Prestige Management. Universal reacted positively ("yes, we're happy you are so dedicated and we like your idea of mission:MCFLY.") but had to let them down ("but unfortunately you'll have to create your webpage without any of our help, bye"). There wasn't much they could do for these two Dutch die-hards. They did give them contact details of Prestige Management and kept in contact. Of course, these baby steps were just what the girls needed to get their plan worked out properly.
Tons of letters disappeared in the mailbox to England and tons of e-mails were forwarded and replied to. In the end, Caroline and Pascale realised that they had to take their mission into their own hands if they wanted to make something happen. With a little dedication they came a long way, as you can see today.
In the meantime there have been several interviews with several radiostations (local and national!) about mission:MCFLY, the band itself and of course to play tracks of McFly to The Netherlands. They've had quite a few national magazines print McFly interviews, McFly posters and McFly news. The more McFly, the merrier. There hasn't been any newspaper or TV action just yet, but who knows what the future holds!

Searching the web, checking her e-mails and keeping in touch with McFriends; always burried behind her beloved laptop. She's one of the people who you can blame for the McFly news and media you can find on mission:MCFLY.
Together with best friend Caroline she's been determined to accomplish every mission they set for themselves, and wish for all the support they can get! If there's a list of people who have their brains and their heart into McFly, Pascale would certainly be listed!

One of mission:MCFLY's best friends is Celesta. Meeting both Pascale and Caroline outside of mission:MCFLY, she became to know McFly better and better. Today she is a well deserved pioneer and McFly fan because of these two ladies. Already helping out where she could, it was decided she deserved to be recognised as one of our team and gained the title 'Behind The Scenes Assistant' - BTS Assistant for short.
Learn more about Celesta: This crazy lady is pretty indescribable - you'd have to meet her to know what she's like. Always ready to party, she's that girl that's always singing at the top of her lungs, trying to overpower the music (which she often does). With a fat cat called Bobby, who she unhealthily treats as her child and sings Justin Bieber songs to, she makes the best BTS Assistant we could ever ask for!
